The hotel's delightful aesthetics, incredibly comfortable rooms, outstanding cuisine, and wonderful spa are just a few highlights of the exceptional experience. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the remarkable team of professionals who go above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome and taken care of. We had the pleasure of returning to Nara after 18 years, and the staff had prepared a thoughtful welcome note and even surprised us with a complimentary dessert dish for breakfast, accompanied by a note. The front desk staff were attentive to our every request, question, and need, always going the extra mile to ensure our satisfaction. They provided us with fantastic suggestions that were off the beaten path, beyond what one could find in travel guides, and their recommendations for local restaurants were top-notch. Additionally, we are immensely grateful that we were able to find refuge at the Marriott Nara during Typhoon Lan. Throughout the entire ordeal, we felt safe and well-cared for. We extend our deepest thanks to the entire team. It was truly heartbreaking to leave, but we will most definitely be returning in the future.

In addition, the Nara Prefecture municipal building is directly across the street. The train to Osaka is less than a brisk ten minute walk and the train ride to Osaka is approximately twenty-five minutes. The MiNara shopping mall is less than a ten minutes walk. Inside, you have access to a fully staffed food court, consumer electric store, toy store, chemist/ 100¥ store and so much more. The primary reason to visit the JW Marriott Hotel is the staff; the entire staff was always professional, well dressed, perfect fluency in English and extremely knowledgeable of Japanese culture, history and customs. This is a safe place for non white people! All guests have access to a twenty-four hour sports centre/ weight training facility. The Swimming pool is opened from 8 to 20th hour all week. Moreover, please experience the spa's experienced massage professionals. The restaurants are beautifully designed and decorated with the Nara theme and the food is fresh and delicious. To save money, please prepay for the breakfast package. I will certainly be returning to the JW Marriott Nara.
